Use a sulfate-free, moisturizing shampoo and conditioner only. Harsh chemicals = no-go.

Gently detangle with a wide-tooth comb from ends to roots before washing.

Wash in lukewarm water, never hot.

Rinse thoroughly and follow up with a deep conditioner for 15–30 minutes for extra softness.

Wrap hair in a satin bonnet or scarf at night (especially with installs & wigs).
